M&E COORDINATOR

  • In collaboration with the M&E Manager and the Program and Project Managers, establish a reliable and consistent set of outcome Indicators for all program activities.
  • Supervise the development of the monitoring and evaluation plans of the projects in line with the project logical framework and in consultation with the project teams for all the ongoing projects.
  • In collaboration with the M&E Manager, develop a system to ensure that the M&E strategic plan including M&E indicators, is aligned with  the  overall  sector of activities within AVSI.
  • Provide monitoring and evaluation support to partner organization
  • Elaborate the  Standard  Operating  Procedures  (SOPs)  and  guidelines  and updated where necessary.
  • Coordinate with the Database management team to develop a harmonized system of data collection for each sector of activity.
  • Supervise the dissemination case stories from the field through Focus group discussion
  • Ensure timely compilation of internal and external progress reports for all ongoing projects
  • Supervise the elaboration of progress reports for all ongoing projects
  • Supervise and guide the work of M&E officers.

• At least hold a Bachelor degree in relevant field like Public health, sociology, Demography and statistics or equivalent field experience.
• Formal training in monitoring and evaluation will be an added advantage
• Demonstrable competencies in setting up M&E systems will be an added advantage
• Competency in both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Knowledge in the livelihood and education sector
