Photographer - Diwan

We are searching for…
A photographer to take pictures for a photoblog as part of a project titled “Diwan” aiming to promote inclusive governance and development in the Wadi Khaled area.

Your contribution

• In coordination with Search, agree on clear objectives of the photographs;
• Work closely with the staff and consultants in charge of leading field interviews with the photo subjects;
• Join a field trip to Wadi Khaled to take photos of the project and members of the community;
• In coordination with Search staff and consultants, submit 15 photostories based on the field visit and interviews;
• Photographs shall be provided to Search digitally through a cloud-based platform (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer) and physically on a flash drive

Search Lebanon seeks an experienced person with the following qualifications:

• A proven track record of successful projects in visual storytelling and photography;
• A portfolio proving past experience in creative work as a photographer;
• The candidate will use their o photography equipment capable of delivering high resolution jpeg or raw files (300 dpi at 2610 x 3900 pixels);
• Solid understanding of storytelling through photography;
• Experience working in communities experiencing conflict or documenting social issues is strongly preferred;
• Willingness and ability to be flexible;
• Consultant with bilingual skills (English/Arabic) is required
