We are requesting offers for the provision of Refreshment Service

You are invited to submit quotation for the goods listed below.

Description of the Request:

Provision of nutritious, high quality and hygienically prepared food, drinks and refreshments, and reliable and efficient catering services for a group of 15 youth/session (aged 12-25 years old) for a number of sessions that may exceed 30 sessions between April and December 2019.

Interested Catering Companies providing Coffee Break Services/Refreshments who meet the minimum requirements of:

• Valid registered business/NGO
• Preparation of nutritious food in a timely manner
• Proven experience and logistical capabilities are invited to respond to this proposal in full. The full proposal includes locations in Tripoli, Dannieh and surroundings for the duration of the service delivery term, a part is considered to be one or more regional/governorate for the duration of the service delivery term.

• Service delivery term is from April 30, 2019 to December 2019 (specific start and end dates to be determined) and hours will be determined later.
• Groups of 15 Trainee /session at each of the different locations.
  • There may be more than one group active at a location during a given period
• The snack package shall be presented as such:
  • Carton box  or Paper Bag
  • Napkins, Wet Wipes, & Plastic Cutlery (if needed)

The catering services fee shall be invoiced and paid based on the number of units/person delivered.

CONDITIONS:

1. RET LIBAN General Conditions of Contract shall apply.
2. If the bidder is successful, This RFQ shall constitute the basis of a supply agreement for the services as listed above.
3. Bidder’s offer shall remain fix and firm up until end of Dec. 2019.
4. Subject to RET LIBAN acceptance of the work performed by the Bidder, payment for goods/services shall be made by check,  between 7 to 15 working days after complete delivery of goods/completion of services provided that the organization has received an appropriate and acceptable original invoice from seller and delivery vouchers duly signed by representatives of both parties.
5. Making a payment to any employee as an inducement or any canvassing to enable you to win this bid will result in automatic disqualification from participating in this tender or any other tender.
6. Quotations with missing information will be disqualified from participating in this tender.
7. If you were not contacted after 20 working days from closing date, then be notified that your quotation was not awarded.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Bids are required to be:
   1. Bids shall remain valid for 30 days after the date of bid opening.
   2. Submitted in English or Arabic languages
   3. By email to info@retliban.org  or by hand in a sealed envelope/package clearly marked and addressed  to:  RET Liban Office -  Shukri Shoucair Street, Assad Eid Bldg, Third Floor-  Geatawi, Ashrafieh, Beirut, Lebanon (Between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm)
   4. The total per meal kit must not exceed $3 (Three US Dollars)
   5. Outer envelope/package of your bid must clearly indicate: Peace Building (Project Title), Catering Service Bid, Name of your company, Date of Submission
   6. The bid reaches the above address before the time and date of Monday, April 15, 2019 at 3:00 pm

1. Each quotation should state the below and addressed to the Procurement Person:
   1. Supplier Name
   2. Quotation Number
   3. Certificates (Registration of the business/NGO, any other health certificates)
   4. Final Unit price per person per day (15 persons)
   5. If VAT is applicable, please attach a copy of the VAT certificate, or mention the VAT registration no. on your quotation.

Descriptive literature or samples of the item offered must be forwarded with the quotation.

An authorized representative of the offerer must sign, stamp and date the quotation, and other relative documents accompanying it.

Note: RET LIBAN will sign a Frame Agreement for the whole period with the selected supplier.
