- To manage data systems according to internal protocols and strategy development
- To develop usable, digestible and accessible digital platforms to better comprehend a significant amount of qualitative and quantitative data
- To accurately manage a large amount of qualitative and quantitative data internally, with usability and particularly as a guiding principle
- Compile, aggregate, clean, tag, label and organize primary and secondary data, in accordance with internal and guidelines, methodology and standards
- Advice/supervise the process of managing the repository of data in a way that grants team members easy access
- Support stronger and more effective internal knowledge sharing methods to ensure a smoother information flow
- To create and manage unique processes, products and platforms to visualize data in a proper way that fits into the context
- To develop additional data platforms under guidance
- To collect data in a logical and coherent system that can be readily archived
- Ensure targeting databases are harmonized and constantly updated
- Provide a second and final quality check and data cleaning stage to ensure that data is of usable quality for Manager
- Provide data analysis reporting following extraction templates or when needed based on Manager requests
- To provide information to field teams directly for specific limited information requests (beneficiary details, location codes, assistance records etc.)
- To produce other documentation required by the field teams on request from Team Leaders/Managers
- To translate data from Arabic into English (if needed) and vise-versa
- Prepare additional internal/external reports as needed
- Produce high quality and timely information for proposals and reports when requested
- Ensure the hardware in the department is maintained properly and has the correct software installed for the department needs
- Maintain digital platform functionality, accessibility and liability and travel to other centers to provide assistance when needed
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Arabic, (speaking/reading/writing).
- Education Degree: University degree or Technical diploma in an Information Management/ Computing related field.
- Work experience: At least 2 years of experience in Information Management preferably with humanitarian organizations / NGOs.
- Computer Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of relational database management systems, MySQL, ACCESS, Oracle, etc.
- Solid knowledge in data processing using MS Excel, and mail merge with MS Word.
- Good experience in Data presentation/visualization in a well-structured, organized, and clear format using visual tools “PowerBL, Tableau, etc., especially charts
- Other knowledge: Acquaintance with INGO' rules, procedures and regulations
- Interest: Work in relief, interest for refugees’ issues
