Grants acquisition and management-Internship Opportunity

Major Responsibilities:  

• Support WV Program Officers and Compliance Coordinator in the organization of start-up and close-out workshops for grants, including by drafting agendas and preparing presentations (including information on the donor, donor’s guidelines and requirements, reporting requirements, and others). 
• Support WV POs in regular project monitoring to better understand project implementation, as well as in reporting to donors.
• Support WV POs in researching donors, their priorities, as well as identifying funding opportunities.
• Support WV POs in proposal development including 1) identifying the guidelines and requirements of the Call for Proposal, 2) collecting necessary documentation (organizational, administrative, etc.), as requested by the call for proposal, 3) support in writing the proposal 
• Support in the development of capacity statements per sector

• University (Bachelor essential, master’s preferred) relevant to the field of international relations, political science, disaster management, international development humanitarian law, international/political studies, sociology, public health, population studies and others.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and oral and written communication skills in English
• Excellent and proven interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively with teams and communities
• Knowledge of and familiarity of the context in Lebanon, including Syria crisis
• Ability to analyze and integrate feedback from diverse teams and reach common ground
