Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper implementation of project focusing on quality and innovative approach.
- Case management services will include assessment of needs, development of an action plan for recovery, implementing the action plan and ensuring appropriate follow up/revision and case closure when appropriate.
- Provide Age Appropriate counseling for vulnerable girls and children while being mindful of how to care for child survivors and working in the best interest of the child.
- Receive referrals, take action and provide feedback of actions taken in a timely manner to manager and other agencies when necessary.
- To ensure Adolescent and girls safe space minimum standards criteria are met.
- To maintain furniture and equipment intact from damage and adhere to the Asset Management Plan policies and procedures;
- Hold regular meetings with community workers for follow up and planning.
- Lead the Drafting and to submit weekly, monthly and other reports as necessary to Nabad;
- Maintain alongside with admin staff well organized filing system as well as pertinent documents for the coordination and management of the center.
- To ensure that Center operation adheres to Standard Operating procedures agreed by NABAD.
- To ensure implementation and validate center, community workers, buses, reception schedules.
- Manage alongside with staff and coaches the outreach to recruit youth.
- GBV case management officer will receive support and mentorship on daily basis from NABAD for all activities.
- Any other related tasks as needed.
- Ensure that all databases are filled properly by the relevant staff.
Financial responsibilities:
- Ensure proper application of financial internal control procedures related to receipt and disbursement of funds.
- Supervise and coordinate staff timesheets and payments.
Communication responsibilities:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local community members, government and private institutions, and other organization in the target area.
- Plan and supervise implementation of community awareness activities and effective communication with community members and dignitaries.
- Networking with agencies that provide specialized protection services that work actively in the area.
- Report to Nabad representatives on any cases (Incident report & note of concerns) that require specialized intervention or referral to specialized services for the best interest of young people also ensure proper filling of the case tracker.
Qualifications & Skills:
- University degree in Social Work (BA or Masters)
- Minimum 2-3 years work experience in child protection or social work with a demonstrated focus on GBV program design and implementation
- Previous NGO experience is a plus.
- Good communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Adheres to ethical considerations and principles in regards to working with vulnerable populations.
- Highly organized and able to work independently and respecting deadlines
- Strong sense of responsibility, and flexibility
- Being flexible and with the ability to adjust to changes and new requirements
