Undertakes regular visits to UNRWA health centers according to a rotating schedule in order to examine, treat and follow up on patients referred to him/her by medical officers;
Maintains records of all patients with cardiovascular diseases at each health center and provides statistical data and relevant information on such patients to the Field Office;
Plans and directs the in-service training of medical officers on the prevention and control of cardiovascular diseases;
Maintains an effective system of referral to, and feed-back from, contracted and government hospitals treating refugee patients;
Follows up to ensure that equipment and supplies are maintained and techniques are performed in accordance with standard Agency procedures;
Performs such other duties as may be assigned.

Advanced degree in cardiology or internal medicine specialty;;
A valid license to practice medicine as internist or cardiologist in the country of duty station (where applicable).
