Finance Officer

Job Description

 

  • To ensure compliance with the association and donor procedures
  • Responsible for correct accounting and administration of funds.
  • To prepare and send the Project Manager financial plan in accordance with financial and budget constraints;
  • Responsible for maintaining financial, accounting, in order to meet legislative requirements and support municipal operations, is responsible of the financial report
  • To provide the project manager with regular planning control data, highlighting any variances, errors and issues;
  • To make and check the intermediate and final financial reports and submit them to the project manager for approval;
  • To ensure correct budget processing, checking conformity and consistency of expense items and accordance to procedures in force;
  • To provide the project manager with a monthly status report on accounts and the required back-up documents.

 

Job Qualifications

 

  • Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
  • Experience using financial software
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Knowledge of financial regulations
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Sharp time management skills
  • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
