2070 WVL I Tender Announcement - Pre-Qualification Process for Insurance Companies

World Vision is one of the world’s leading humanitarian development and advocacy organization and operates in nearly 100 countries worldwide, including Lebanon.
World Vision International in Lebanon is inviting potential suppliers, which are all strong and highly regarded within their sectors to participate in Pre-qualification Process for Insurance Services.

Interested participants should be Insurance Companies ONLY with a minimum of 10 Years experience in this field and not Brokers.  

The Insurance Services required: 
1.    Medical/Health Insurance (including Guaranteed Renewal)
2.    Vehicle/Motor Insurance (all risk and compulsory)
3.    Life Insurance 
a.    Total & Partial Permanent disability.
b.    Passive War & Terror (Death & Disability).
4.    Fire & Allied Perils Insurance
5.    Workman Compensation
6.    Personal Accident for Children - For Short Term Projects 
7.    Event`s Insurance

Pre-qualified companies will be shortlisted and will receive the Invitation to Tender for Insurance Services. Tender winning company will sign Long Term Agreement (Agreement validity up to 3 years) with WV Lebanon for all services.

Interested Companies should submit following set of documents to participate in the selection process:

A.    Legal Documents:

·    Certified copy of a certificate of business registration (Commercial Register - Commercial Circular)
·    Certificate of incorporation, business license or similar document
·    Certified copy of tax registration, tax clearance certificates or similar documents
·    Provide information on ownership structure (Name of directors of the company / Owners and their ID)
·    Provide last two years of audited financial statements or tax filing, or similar documents
·    Provide documentation proofing that the company is clear of legal disputes that ended in Court in the past three years.
·    Copy of Ministry of Economy, Insurance Control Commission License.
·    A letter from the bank , stamped or signed for your Bank Account Details (Bank name. address, Account number, Swift number, IBAN number & Payee name) 

B.     Technical Documents:

·    Company Profile.
·    List of clients.
·    A detailed Reference letters from minimum 3 previous customers / Other INGOs 
·    Description of Insurance Packages your company is offering including services and time frame: please indicate facilities that your company will be offering for Medical Insurance. Coverage, Claim and refund processes (No Prices should be included in this description)..

C.    Administrative Documents:

Sign the Vendor Registration Form 
World Vision International Compliance Policy Declaration, which includes following policies.
Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form 
Safeguarding Behavior Protocols & Code of Conduct 
World Vision Anti-Corruption Policy

Companies will be shortlisted based on following criteria:

1.    Submission of legal Documents- 35%
2.    Technical Documents -50%
3.    Submission of Administrative Documents -15%.

Deadline for submitting the documentation is June 10, 2019. 16:00 P.M.  

All offers received after the indicated Deadline time and date will be rejected and not considered for Evaluation.
