Interpersonal Communication Consultant

The consultant will be responsible for:

1. Compiling previously developed wellness and pregnancy package of services for youth, mothers , adults and adolescents, in addition to existing materials developed on Immunization through the Accelerated Immunization Activities (AIA) targeting ChildrenU18  and the Infant and young child feeding (IYCF) targeting CU5s into an MNCAH package.
2. Developing material focused on enhancing interpersonal communication (IPC) skills of healthcare providers with adolescents at PHCs. This will be developed after assessing the needs of HCP in terms of IPC and youth in order to finalize the training manual through conducting focus group discussions with PHC representatives. Following the development of the material, capacity building trainings will be conducted to HCP working at PHCs in order to improve their soft and counseling skills and help create a youth friendly environment at PHCs.
3. Developing key messages related to MNCAH services
   1. Where they exist, and
   2. How to seek these services with clear referral pathways

Following the development of the key messages, frontline workers from UNICEF’s partners will be trained on the messages aiming to effectively reach out and approach adolescents and caregivers.
