Technical Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with instructors to produce course details if new specialties
• Provide promotion plans for courses
• Supervise course progress by monitoring, and ensuring quality of delivery is as per standard and plan
• Assist in improving instructors’ skills and knowledge, and improving course level depending on assessment results
• Develop the Socio-Academic and economic aspect of the course
• Monitor classroom performance (class management/following agenda/knowledge of course subject)
• Coordinate with HOC to set course related regulations
• Identify and maintain all materials, equipment, products needed for the course
• Update the course library (Books, Magazines, CDs, Video tapes, Cassettes, Thesis, Internet documents, “A” students’ projects)
• Review and report course progress and results of academic assessment of instructors on a periodic basis
• Review and share results of placements where needed
• Design diagnostic tests according to need of courses
• Conduct coordination meetings
• Coordinate, review and maintain examination tools
• Conduct new instructor interviews in coordination with HOCs and HR department
