Part Time Field Officers

SIDC is recruiting 3 part-time field officers who will support the implementation of “The IMPACS Project - A project to for Improving MNCAH through Promoting Access to Comprehensive PHC Services”, which is currently being implemented by SIDC with the support of UNICEF. The field officer will be working on field and will be assigned to visit the different areas where the frontline workers will be located to monitor the implementation of the activities, and will be supervised by the M&E officer.  

He/she will be responsible for:

• Monitoring the ongoing activities occurring in the different areas and governorates with the frontline workers under the supervision of the M&E officer.  
• Ensuring that the frontline workers are delivering the required key messages to the adolescents and caregivers.  
• Ensuring that the target numbers of adolescents and caregivers are reached. 
• When necessary, coordinate and communicate with relevant stakeholders in the assigned regions.
• Reporting back to the M&E officer regularly.
• Conduct other tasks as requested by the project team.

Qualifications:

Required

• Good academic and proven knowledge of community mobilization, field work and coordination of community activities.
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience working with communities in the field.
• Prior experience in a non-profit organization with health related issues.
• Excellent reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English. French is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 3 days a week to one of the project sites: South, Bekaa and North.
