Field Officers (Part-time)

SE Factory (SEF) is a cutting-edge coding bootcamp in Beirut on a mission to select high-potential computer science graduates from low income backgrounds and help them develop the necessary skills to become job-ready software engineers.

SEF runs in 3-month cycles (photos), taking a batch of up to 20 students each time, for a total of 3 cycles per year. Students go through intensive training on the full stack of web development technologies. In addition, students go through a wide range of soft skills workshops such as CV writing, job interviewing, self-awareness, teamwork, project management, among others.

At the end of the 3-month bootcamp, SEF will facilitate interviews with top software companies and agencies looking to hire, thereby bridging the gap in Lebanon between university graduates and the demands of the job market.

SE Factory is seeking three part-time field officers (Tripoli, Beirut, Saida), each of whom will be responsible for the following tasks and responsibilities: 

• Identifies potential partners to support with youth outreach and recruitment
• Recruits youth to attend info sessions
• Gives info sessions about the SE Factory programs in the designated area
• Conducts necessary student onboarding, enrollment, and follow up for SE Factory programs operated in the designated area
• Maintains the smooth operation of SE Factory programs in the designated area
• Prepares all content and training materials, including stationary, supplies, and M&E forms, certificates when needed, prior to training sessions 
• Manages SE Factory program graduations in the designated area
• Assists in initiating and seeing through partnerships with relevant organizations and companies in the designated area
• Monitors the instructors’ performance and reports to the program manager
• Compiles and enters data for M&E purposes
• Manages the data-gathering process for submission of quarterly results and performance reports
