Teacher of Early Child Education Course

Work place: Tripoli, Lebanon

Payment: according to the budget rate

SEED is a non-profit nongovernmental organization working in Tripoli to support the education sector since 2016.

We are looking for an Early Child Education Teacher

Work description:

• Prepares and teach courses in various classes according to the project learning plan
• Creates learning environment based on interactive approach which will support the learning process
• Gives regularly written evaluation of students to manager of children education
• Maintains the equipment and education space in good conditions
• Assesses academic results of students and maintain relevant documentation and prepares records on students’ progress and communicates with parents on individual basis
• Participates in project team meetings and meetings with parents and trainers of teachers
• Supplements classes of missing teachers when necessary
• Other relevant activities assigned by Manager of children education or educational centre Coordinator

Required education level, qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor degree or other relevant degree relevant for Early Child Education
• At least of 2 years of working experience in Early Child Education
• Good understanding of Syrian crisis context
• Native language Arabic and good knowledge of French 
• Experience with vulnerable children and children from refugee community is an advantage
• Experience with applying interactive educational methods in the teaching process is an advantage
• Being able to work in team, adapt to cultural context and embrace vision, values and principles of SEED and People in Need Slovakia
