Through it's Global Development & Exchange Programs, World Learning practices what it teaches, undertaking community-driven international development, training and exchange projects in sixteen countries.
Over two years the Leaders for Democracy Fellowship Program (LDF) - U.S. Department of State U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative funded program - will transform the lives of 100 emerging leaders in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Through both U.S. and Lebanon-based fellowships that combine four-weeks of academic learning with an eight-week practicum, Fellows will gain the knowledge and skills needed to be positive change agents in their communities.
As part of its program implementation, the project arranges bi-weekly enrichment seminars for the 22 fellows that arrived in Lebanon from different countries from the MENA region.
