“Youth for Tomorrow” Project, implemented by Development for People and Nature Association “Akkarouna” with support from Mercy Corps (MC), focuses on helping host and refugee community adolescents, in targeted areas in Saida to cope with numerous stresses. The decisions they make now will have a profound long-term impact on their lives; thus it is essential to equip adolescents with the tools to make sound judgment in order to have a healthy and productive future. “Youth for tomorrow” aims to achieve the following:
Adolescents and youth have improved psychosocial and emotional wellbeing.
Adolescents and youth are better prepared to enter the workforce with enhanced technical skills and improved awareness of labour market realities
Diverse groups build po
sitive inter-community relationships by working together to promote protection and interests of adolescents and youth.
Civil Society has increased capacity to serve the needs of youth.
The role of the Akkarouna Youth for Tomorrow Admin Assistant is mainly to:
- Prepare the tablets for the field team with the help of the M&E
- Arrange Files; soft and hard archiving (program; center staff and coaches).Segregation of date, subject…
- Arrange coaches and center staff biography files and all related documents.
- Demonstrate an ethic and professional practice; restricted to CoC and NGO ethics
- Participate in the different activities that are common to all team members such as training, capacity building etc….
- Responsible to buy the requested material for the youth from the Bussma shop.
- Responsible for Asset tracking sheet, update and delivering the asset documents to Akkarouna procurement officer on weekly basis.
- Responsible and accountable for all assets in the room; listing, delivery and distribution
- Manage and follow up on all center needs and logistics
- Planning for all supplies and stationary center and program requirements through a monthly procurement plan in coordination with the finance procurement officer and CC
- Prepare weekly reports for line manager and CC management,
- Assist in Collecting and entering the data collected by the field team when needed,
- Collect and follow up on Attendance sheets when needed
- Follow up with data entry officer on all data entered when needed
- Cross check with paper versions
- Any other related tasks as needed
The required outputs resulting from the successful implementation of this assigned position are as follows:
All activities shall be covered in a timely and accurate manner; all activities shall be properly documented. Reports and all recent data must be prepared and sent to the M&E Officer, as well as to MC M&E Coordinator. He/she must review the data and information generated from the project to be implemented.
