- Oversee the implementation of activities related to TDH’s CP Program at governorate level (Mount Lebanon);
• Support TDH’s Area Coordinators to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of activities in line with donor requirements and agreed workplan;
• Monitor progress of the activities against targets, communicating any delays or challenges to the relevant Project Manager and identifying corrective actions;
• In collaboration with TDH’s Project Manager and CP Specialist, ensure the quality of the CP response in accordance with international standards, humanitarian response plans and TDH’s internal CP Strategy;
• Financial monitoring: support the district teams in preparing monthly cash plans, monitor planned against actual expenditure and support the Project Managers in preparing the monthly Budget Follow Up;
• Support logistics processes to procure, store and distribute stock, supplies and services for the timely delivery of project objectives;
• Work with Project Managers to ensure timely inputs into donor reports (financial and narrative) and contribute with case studies and stories from the field;
• Establish an efficient remote control mechanism in case of not accessible areas due to security reasons;
• Conduct frequent field visits to all project sites in ML
• Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promoting a strong team spirit and providing oversight and guidance to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions;
• Accompany the Project Manager on donor field visits and to project communication events, as required;
• Supervise field assessments, including vulnerability needs assessments, with the support of TDH IT’s field staff;
• In collaboration with the Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator and Data Manager, ensure monitoring and evaluation plans are understood by field teams and that data is collected in a timely manner and is of good quality;
• Ensure that feedback mechanisms are understood and implemented by field teams to ensure high quality M&E and accountability to beneficiaries;
• Keep/Ensure appropriate working relationships with relevant project stakeholders including local Municipality leaders, other CP sector partners, local CBOs/CSOs, camps representative at field level, and, where relevant, involve them in project design and evaluation;
• As required, participate in coordination meetings with national and international institutions and the CP Cluster/Working Group;
• Support the area coordinators to organize weekly meetings with team leaders, social worker and volunteers, to share lessons learned and exchange experiences;
• Organize regular meetings with the area coordinators and education coordinators.
• Support the recruitment of CP staff for field positions;
• Send to the log department in the agreed time, the movement plan for his/her teams.
• Ensure strict adherence to TDH IT Child Protection Policy (including respect for confidentiality, and adopting a child-centered approach) and that child protection standards are understood and applied and support the Team Leaders in establishing a clear referral system.
