About
Bread for the World is a German church-based non-governmental organization. Key issues of our work are the promotion of health and education, the strengthening of democracy, respecting human rights, keeping peace and the integrity of creation. Bread for the World works through partner organizations, which are NGOs, and churches implementing projects in rural and urban areas. The target groups are marginalized communities with a special focus on women, youth and children.
