OBJECTIVE:
The Project officer is responsible for the proper implementation of projects and activities, provide essential support to a project by ensuring close collaboration with donors and third party agencies
DUTIES:
- Support the project coordinator in the planning and implementation of program activities to meet key deliverables based on timeline and scope agreed with the donor
- Collaborate with donors and partners; organize and report meetings
- Contribute to the development and drafting of MOUs with third-party agencies in accordance with partners’ proposals and donor’s recommendations
- Monitor the implementation of projects and activities related to the program
- Monitor and report the progress of the projects with third-party agencies by conducting field visits during the implementation of MOUs
- Monitor the budget and target of projects of third-party agencies
- Contribute to establishing and implementing operational work plans, setting clear targets and activity plans for ongoing project for the PSS component
- Develop and follow up on the implementation of the work plan
- Contribute to ongoing field assessments and data collection as required
- Ensure quality implementation of the activities through regular visits to the centers
- Ensure that data is accurately collected on a daily/weekly and monthly basis and reflective of the projects indicators
- Monthly/weekly Reporting to the project coordinator and the reporting officer

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
