Field Officer

Job qualifications:

• A college degree in any major or field
• Basic English language skills in reading and writing
• Good computer skills especially in Microsoft excel
• Basic knowledge about UN system and programs and in particular WFP (world food program)
• Previous Experience in electronic assessment systems is preferable
• Previous experience in WFP’s direct food assistance modalities and systems is preferable
• Possession of a valid driver’s license IS A MUST
• Clean criminal record IS A MUST
• Knowledge of the geographical area of work is recommended
• Previous experience in working with Syrian refugees communities is recommended

Job description: in a designated geographical area

• Conduct assessments on electronic devices related to direct food assistance and food security for refugees and host community such as FSOM (food security outcome monitoring)
• Conduct distributions of cards and pins for Syrians refugees and host community
• Conduct self validation activities for Syrian refugees done through Liban post and cash united centers
• Conduct FGDs (focus group discussions) with beneficiaries benefitting from direct food assistance programs  
• Conduct PDM (post distribution monitoring) visits to households assisted with cash
• Conduct assessments and impact studies related to food assistance and food security with refugees and Lebanese community
• Implement monitoring activities to shops contracted by WFP, ATMs
• Any other related task

Area: Beirut and Mount Lebanon (Beirut, Baabda (including Beirut southern suburb), Aley, Chouf, Keserwan, El Meten, Jbeil)
