Regional Coordinator - QITABI-2 Program -"Quality Instruction towards Access and Basic Education Improvement”

  • Provide overall management, vision and direction of program, including budget management, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and to a high standard.
  • Define the scope of the project in collaboration with Ana Aqra Program Manager;
  • Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project.
  • Develop a schedule in coordination with the program Manager for project completion; and share it with senior management and project staff.
  • Manage project staff and ensure that everyone on the team understands the scope of the project and agrees upon how the project’s goals will be met.
  • Execute the project according to the project work plan; including checking project progress toward meeting its objectives, monitoring and evaluating the progress of the project against set indicators in a timely manner; and taking corrective actions to address any challenges.
  • Compile and write needed reports for the Program Manager on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis;
  • Implement the budget and monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures and cash flows and ensure up to date financial records;
  • Serve as the primary contact and ensure appropriate liaison with Program Manager and project funder;
  • Provide assistance and advice to the focal team members in the execution of their tasks and motivate them for success;
  • Develop and maintain a database of project outputs, activity tracking, training evaluation and achieved results to provide information for both internal and external reporting;
  • Ensure that main decisions and plans related to the project are being communicated to the focal teams in a timely manner;
  • Oversee timely preparation of relevant project documentation for approval from Program Manager;
  • Actively represent Ana Aqra as necessary at relevant meetings, and other coordination forums, fostering strong and productive working relationships with key partners and stakeholders in the education sector;
  • Guide field team, (Field Coordinators, Resource Officers) members regarding scheduling, handling of field challenges, timeliness of support and reporting.
  • Develop an evaluation process for the project in coordination with the program manager;
  • Participate in presentations about the project to the Program Manager/Director, and to other key stakeholders as required;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
