The post holder will contribute to the achievement of the aims and objectives of the Medical In-Kind Program (MIKP) and Relief projects:
- Provide support to the In-Kind program coordinator (IC) in writing appeals, concept notes, proposals related to In-Kind and Health projects.
- Assist in assessment, monitoring, and capacity building activities addressing the needs of partner organizations and their recipient centers.
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring donation distribution schemes and allocations with partner organizations
- Assist in writing emergency appeals and concept notes for projects and proposals, if needed.
- Assist in the monitoring of recipient organizations. Conduct field visits to monitor storage, handling, dispensing and management of medications; and compliance with MIKP quality standards.
- Impact Reports. The Intern will assist IC with Impact reports for received medicine or relief items (calculations of number of treatments or beneficiaries)
- Perform other related tasks if the need arises
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Health/ Medical degree
- Excellent command of English and Arabic
- Good reporting, organizational, communication and computer skills
- Willingness and ability to travel independently around different regions in Lebanon
