CB PSS Assistant Re Advertising

Duties and responsibilities:

• Prepare and conduct daily psychosocial support activities for street and working children
• Accompany children and families to external agencies to facilitate access to service provisions.
• Identify and refer cases of street and working children at high risk of harm.
• Document Trends/patterns of SaWC on a weekly basis.
• Maintain and update: activity evaluation forms, trend forms
• Identify and implement PSS activities in Tripoli
• Maintain contact with families of street and working children-disseminate information, materials and NFI’s as and when required.
• Conduct pre/post questionnaires in all locations of intervention-following standardized protocols accordingly.
• Conduct life skills sessions for youths.
• Conduct Parenting skills sessions for SaWC caregivers.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor Degree, Technical diploma, any other fields related to social science or social work.

Work Experience:

• Experience working with children.
• Experience working with street and working children is preferable.
• Experience in working with an NGO/humanitarian organization is preferable. 
• Demonstrated Skills and Competencies
• Fluent in speaking and writing both Arabic and English Language is plus.
• Be an influencer (positive role model).
• Flexible, adaptable, and handle stress.
•  Understands the work with children , cross-cultural setting

 Working conditions

The Job requires understanding the challenges faced in working with streets and working children. Excepted to work under challenging circumstances, that requires a patient and calm attitude. Full knowledge of child protection and child rights .
