CB Specialist

▪ Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps and training needs for a variety of professionals (through surveys, interviews or focus group discussions)
▪ Lead and facilitate focus group discussions with children and adults
▪ Develop content and training materials based on data and research
▪ Develop content and tools for capacity building sessions (training plan, training proposal, agenda, evaluation sheets, pre-post tests etc.)
▪ Provide capacity building sessions to himaya’s team members as well as outside professionals
▪ Establish and maintain a safe, non-judgmental and respectful training environment for all participants
▪ Provide mentoring and coaching to participants as a post capacity building follow-up to ensure that the material transmitted was well integrated, when needed
▪ Review and/or prepare reports, such as training evaluation reports, when needed
▪ Develop and implement Child Protection Policies in institutions (as per the guidelines provided by the CBRD Department)
▪ Develop new contacts with relevant stakeholders (universities, NGOs, internally)
▪ Allocate 10 hours per month to administrative tasks related to CBRD, as assigned by CBRD manager

▪ Develop and update content used by CBRD
▪ Participate in CBRD projects, when needed
▪ Follow CBRD’s yearly action plan
▪ Attend all CBRD meetings
▪ Follow himaya’s referral pathway when witnessing or dealing with disclosures of abuse
