Social Worker - Volunteer

  • Conducting project activities according to needs analysis and Project requirements
  • Coordinating with local partners and communities
  • Main contact person for beneficiaries and local authorities
  • Regular field visits to monitor the qualitative and quantitative implementation to assess the project’s implementation
  • Responding to requests for special cases which need individual attention and following the progress
  • Responsible for field level documentation (meeting minutes, attendance sheets, feedback by social workers)
  • Monitor, evaluate and suggest changes and improvements in program and materials based on observations and discussions with beneficiaries, partners, Project Manager;
  • Searching for adequate employees and partners for the implementation of the projects
  • Participating in networking activities to extend the network
  • Actively participating and coordinating team meetings and UNHCR Protection, Child Protection, GBV and SGBV meetings
  • Ensure close collaboration and coordination with the Child Protection Manager
  • Ensure procurement requests are presented on a timely basis to facilitate timely implementation of field activities, ensuring cost efficiency and donor regulations and procedures;
  • Continuous communication with the project manager regarding all the details of the project
  • Working on registering beneficiaries and following up with them periodically
  • Responsible for communicating with the guardians of the beneficiaries permanently, which contributes to the service of children
  • Continuous communication and coordination with the executive team of the sessions, monitoring attendance, and monitoring the team periodically
  • Managing the protection center in Attar directly, while going back to the project manager in all details to be agreed upon
  • Communicating with the property owner about everything related to the property (repairs, problems ...).
  • Work on a mapping document for the associations that provide services to the beneficiaries to provide referrals for any other service when needed with regular updates
  • Heading to Beirut when needed to attend central meetings
  • Work on everything required for the project by the project manager
