Finance Assistant

  • Report to the Finance Manager, and coordinates with other staff within the RI-Lebanon office as necessary to implement required tasks.
  • Prepare Payment Vouchers (PVs) and cheques based on fully approved documents and present to approved check-signers for review and signature.
  • File all back up for all transactions and monthly financial reports, and scans all documents and uploads on RI server on a daily basis, ensuring that by the end of each month the uploads are fully up-to-date as prescribed by RI Policy.
  • Assist Finance Manager in preparation of Field Office Financial documents for external and internal audits.  This will include but not be limited to, samples of transactional documentation, reports, manuals, SOPs, etc.
  • Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, ensure legal requirements compliance and reconciling entries.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly Balance sheet accounts reconciliation.
  • Perform initial review of financial documentation provided by RI’s partners, PHCCs and Hospital.
  • Perform other duties as needed
