I. INTRODUCTION

Project Background Information

The Lebanon Reforestation Initiative (LRI) is a Lebanese NGO registered at the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities under no. 1186 on 18 June 2014, which aims to expand, manage and protect Lebanon’s forests and landscapes through a community-based approach. We work on building resilient communities to environmental threats, increasing environmental awareness and education, advocating for forest conservation, and advancing research in the forestry field.

The project is operated by LRI’s offices in Jdeideh.

II. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

LRI seeks a full-time Graphic Designer knowledgeable in communication and visual creations. The position is a full-time position for a period of 1-year renewable based on available funding and performance.

The Graphic Designer is expected to perform the following duties:

•  Quality designs for invitation cards, roll-up banners & certificates for contributors, workers, participants, etc.
•  Stationery and promotional branding material creation.
• Office branding.
• Design and manage the process of printing the materials needed for the office and events (i.e. guidelines, booklets, brochures, posters, flyers).
• Responsible to create signages and awareness signages for all the projects’ sites.
• Manage LRI’s stand in different fairs and exhibitions when needed.
• Manage LRI’s Social Media platforms through creating visuals, movies and animations of different projects and on all occasions.

III. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS 

The Graphic Designer should possess the following competencies, skills, and experience:

• Experience in Graphic Design.
• Experience in Social Media, Internet surfing and communication is a must.
• High organizational skills.
• High time management skills.
• High proficiency in Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Flexibility and readiness to take on additional tasks.
• Excellent in English and Arabic.
• Finally, a creative mind!
