Agronomist to be giving a one three-day lectures on a 3 months based project for 3 separated groups (25 persons each) of Syrian refugees in Aarsal camps.
Lectures to start after the distribution of micro gardening kit containing the following materials:
- Teach basic knowledge about gardening (how to grow herbs and vegetables, seed sowing, thinning out & etc.)
- Teach watering, seedling planting, disbudding, pinning
- How to cope with diseases
- How to harvest the herbs and vegetables
- How to cook with mainly the herbs, vegetables and items in the food basket for the refugees to absorb needy nutrient more efficiently and improve their health
- How to make preserved foods with them.
- How to take and preserve seeds from vegetables for the next year.
- At the end of each day, a report must be handed to Project coordinator who will be supervising the execution
