Project Officer

The Project officer will carry out the following tasks:

Project Tasks:

• Carry out logistical preparations for workshops/ meetings including hotel and flight reservations for meeting participants
• Prepare meeting agenda and take minutes of meeting and draft meeting reports as required
• Represent the organization in calls and meetings as required and ensure timely follow up
• Support the coordinator in the execution of all project related tasks
• Draft narrative project progress reports and final narrative reports as required
• Carry out translation work as required

Communication Tasks:

•  Produce visibility material including brochures, infographic, informational digests, and  annual reports
• Develop engaging and easy to understand material on migration for the general public in English and Arabic
• Write short articles, press releases, press communique on relevant topics and on project activities
• Maintain an up-to date organizational website and social media presence
• Design and implement a social media campaign and strategy 
• Develop and maintain a close relationship with the press in the MENA region
• Build a database with press contacts in the region
