Speech Therapist - Taanayel

General Objectives & Tasks:

1- Provide therapy for patients likely to have disorders in communication, language in all its dimensions, and other cognitive behaviors and activities, as well as in Orofacial Myofunctional disorders:

• Meet the patient’s parents and analyze their request during the first meeting.
• Identify the history of the disorder with the parents.
• Analyze the child’s disorder.
• Detect the diagnosis.
• Propose quick and effective solutions, then initiate the rehabilitation process.
• Establish a relationship of trust with the patients and parents to encourage them to participate and cooperate.
• Update the files of the patients and draft reports on the evolution of the disorder.
• Prepare a yearly plan for each beneficiary.
• Prepare a weekly and monthly plan for each beneficiary with detailed evaluations.
• Record any recognized updates to the patient’s file.
• Prepare and exhibit conferences and workshops for the team as requested.
•  Lead and conduct meetings as required, having the parents and the multi-disciplinary team concerning the patient’s progress.

Position Requirements:

Professional competencies:

• Knowledge of speech-language diagnostic techniques.
• Know how to effectively manage a rehabilitation session.

Working Schedule: 3 days/Week, from 8 Am till 2 Pm.

Contract Type: ASAP till end of December 2020.
