Background: In the context of reforming and improving the water and wastewater sector in Lebanon, a long time technical assistance project is launched to assist the Ministry of Energy and Water and the 4 Regional Water Establishments to improve their processes, services, and performance. We are submitting a proposal bid for this project and are looking for team members to potentially include in our team should we be awarded the offer. Hence we are looking for water engineers to be based in the regional water establishments in Lebanon to assist in the project activities.
The expert should have a general experience of at least 7 years in the sectors of water and wastewater in general and an excellent knowledge of these sectors in Lebanon in particular. He/she should have spent 4 years at least within the same establishment.
Experience in the development of performance monitoring, key performance indicator tools, and exellent reporting skills in English, French and Arabic.
Experience and skills in GIS is a must
The expert should be outspoken, able to work in groups and animate group work and group discussions.
The expert will be dispatched to and be based in one of the 4 Regional Water Establishments (Beirut, North, South, Bekaa) offices for the duration of this consultancy. One expert for each establishment will be needed.
The expert will contribute in the implementation of project activities and tools wihin the Water Establishments. He/she will serve as liaison between the core project team (Technical assistance key experts) based in Beirut, the Ministry of Energy and Water and the Regional Water Establishmens.
