This position will be mainly responsible for the day-to-day operational finance processes for the Emergency response team, including but not limited to:
- Ensure adherence to NRC’s financial handbook and procedures, other NRC policies and donor requirements
- Facilitate payments (cash, check, transfers) for purchases and invoices as required
- Manage payments to daily labours and Emergency response team through allocated money service providers, including coordination with program staff, managing related bank transfers, and follow up on weekly/monthly reports
- Maintain budget control and monitor cash flow for the emergency budgets
- Ensure proper filing of all financial documents as per NRC Security supporting documentation system
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Finance or a related major
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in Finance/Accounting
Knowledge of Audit requirements
Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
