Marketing and Communication Manager

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage the day-to-day digital communications activities of Teach For Lebanon
  • Develop and conduct market research for setting national and regional marketing and communications priorities and strategies
  • Develop a communications strategy and budget
  • Ensure adherence to brand and positioning across the organization’s materials
  • Creatively Develop materials to support all programmatic and development priorities
  • Develop brand identity including logo, color palette, fonts, supporting graphics
  • Create core materials to start operations
  • Identify opportunities to elevate the image of the organization
  • Manage external vendor’s relationship to update and develop the content of the website and other organizational media and platforms
  • Draft and publish press releases and respond to press inquiries
  • Supporting the Development team for fundraising events and creation of supporting materials
  • Create communications of key messages about organization, mission, and goals and train staff on external communications
  • Develop effective relationships with local and collegiate media
  • Proactively contact media to fulfill requests, pitch story ideas, etc.
  • Secure estimates and coordinate other logistical details with vendors
  • Monitoring and communicating insights, statistics, and engagement indicators over our website and social media pages to document, analyze, and improve our reach and visibility
  • Develop key communication indicators and messages related to TFL projects in coordination with the project managers.
  • Send our monthly coverage highlights
  • Track and coordinate marketing/communications budget with relative team members
  • Implementing the communications strategy across Print, Broadcast, Radio, Outdoor and Online media
  • Collaborate effectively with all departments at the organization to showcase impact and progress on projects 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field of communications in a reputable organization, ideally within a media, public or nonprofit institution
  • Proven track record in developing and leading comprehensive communications, media relations, marketing, and online strategies, including experience managing social media outreach
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Google Analytics, and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Web and graphics design (such as Photoshop and illustrator)
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization and writing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of working independently while also being a strong team player
  • Adaptable to growing, fast-paced, diverse, results-oriented culture
  • Strong time management skills and remain flexible in order to accommodate multiple projects simultaneously, with tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized
