- In collaboration with the MEAL Manager and the Program and Project Managers, establish a reliable and consistent set of outcomes and outputs indicators for all program activities, logical framework elaboration including the identification of measurement methodologies, plans and tools, while ensuring alignment with the overall sector of activities within AVSI.
- Supervise the development of the monitoring and evaluation plans of the projects in line with the project logical framework and in consultation with the project teams for all the ongoing projects.
- Coordinate with the Information System team to develop a harmonized system of data collection for each sector of activity along with the data storage system for each project.
- Validate drafted template for focus group discussions, interviews, baseline and endline surveys and the generation of the related digital collection tool.
- Validate the MEAL sampling methods when required.
- Coordinate the conduction of field monitoring visits to monitor field activities and ensure cohesion of data collected on field under each project.
- Coordinate the conduction of field qualitative assessments such as focus group discussion or key informant interviews.
- Support in the conduction of qualitative assessments on the field such as focus group discussion and field monitoring visits.
- Supervise the elaboration of monthly progress reports for all ongoing projects.
- Lead the generation of reliable quantitative and qualitative data for internal and external reporting and ensure timely compilation for monthly reporting or when needed.
- Generate quality analysis of the data collected including trends, impacts, achievements and gaps.
- Make sure all projects dashboards are updated correctly and timely.
- Coordinate the conduction of assessments surveys and generate reports accordingly.
- Generate M&E project reports and assist project team in data retrieving when needed.
- Technically assist the M&E officer in designing and adapting M&E plans and tools.
- Supervise MEAL Team, coordinate their work, and develop their skills and capacities.
- Assist the project teams in strengthening the accountability mechanisms at project level
- Develop tools and database to collect, track and follow-up on beneficiaries’ feedback.
- Ensure beneficiaries feedback and complaints are continuously tracked and addressed.
- Promote the use of analysed data for programmatic decision.
- Collaborate with MEAL and project teams to collect and document lessons learn, to conduct reviews and learning events for activities adaptation.
- Provide monitoring and evaluation support and coaching to partner organization.
- Elaborate the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for M&E activities and update them where/when necessary.
