Project officer

Responsibilities:

Ensure project activities implementation

Work with communities to support, monitor and evaluate ongoing activities according to the plan of action, M&E tools and budget.

Collect accurate and timely data for project design, monitoring, implementation and evaluation.

Contribute to analysis and interpretation of monitoring data.

Ensure that all reports, supporting documents and means of verifications are accurate and submitted as per the set timeline.

Support in preparing and organizing activities including workshops, trainings, and other events

Support in administrative tasks and provide weekly reports

Perform other duties as required

Skills: 

Strong knowledge in Monitoring and Evaluation.

Excellent computer skills

Self- motivated, and adaptable to different cultures and people.

Experience in providing support to communities on Peace Building and Social Cohesion

High level of integrity, honesty and commitment.

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong reporting skills

Reporting: 

The Project officer will report to the Project coordinator.

He/ She will work closely with Dawaer senior management and team.

Experience and Knowledge:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related to Social work, social sciences, international relations,  management or related fields.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working with NGOs.
