Scope of Work and Objectives
Under the direction of the Health Department, the contracted individual will:
- Provide clinical supervision to CL psychologists, in 2 different Primary healthcare centers (Sin el fil – Sed el Bouchrieh). 3 visits each 3 weeks will be conducted between mid of November 2020 and April 2021:
- Provide one on one technical support that involve 5 psychologists into case discussion and analysis.
- Ensure psychologists are providing effective and ethical services
- Contribute to the revision of Patient’s treatment plans, improvement, case closure,
- Contribute to the decision making process of ethical dilemmas arising during supervision
- Report to / Coordinate with the Head of Health Department and Mental Health Coordinator for any technical concerns
Work relationships: The contracted individual shall work closely with CL psychologists, Mental Health Coordinator and Head of Health Department.
Deliverables
November 2020 – April 2021
- Provide Clinical supervision in Sin El Fil and Sed El Bouchrieh Primary healthcare centers. 2-3 hours of supervision will be conducted triweekly with each psychologist (6 to 7 supervision sessions for each psychologist). The Clinical Supervisor is expected to provide 30-35 sessions for 5 psychologists between mid-November till April 2021
- Provide a summary report on the supervisory approach, general technical challenges, and recommendations.
Qualifications of Successful Candidate
- Minimum qualification of a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology
- Acquired MoPH license of practice.
- In-depth knowledge and 7 years of pexperience in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support clinical supervision.
- Familiarity with different Psycho-therapeutic approaches and specialization in at least one of them: CBT, EMDR, Systemic Therapy, IPT, Psychoanalytical inspired approaches is a plus, etc…
- Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly conduct supervisory roles and provide recommendations.
- Proven familiarity with the work of humanitarian organizations
- Excellent knowledge of English, Arabic, and French is required
