Paid Youth Apprenticeship (Internship)

The Nawaya Network’s "Employment Hub" program aims to help unemployed youth (ages 18-25) from neighborhoods affected by the Beirut explosion and surrounding areas. This three-month program consists of an internship opportunity to help youth gain work experience, as well as online trainings on employability and soft skills, such as CV writing, email writing, communication, public speaking, time management, team work, negotiation, among a number of other key skills.

Selected youth will be offered a small monthly payment to ensure their three-month commitment to the program. After the internship and training, youth will be referred to the Jobs for Lebanon employment program in partnership with UNICEF, where coaches and mentors will work with each youth to strengthen their job applications and help increase their chances of finding employment opportunities.

Criteria for selection:

- 18 - 25 years old

- Unemployed and financially in need

- Proficient in English (must be able to read, write, and speak in English)
