Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant

Main Responsibilities:

1) Develop and strengthen monitoring and evaluation procedures

2) Assist the project manager with M&E tools and support in implementation

3) Monitor project activities, and progress towards achieving the project output

4) Report monthly progress on all project activities to the Project Manager

5) Contribute to the writing of monitoring & evaluation reports

6) Assess and report all risks and challenges being faced during the implementation of the program

7) Recommend improvements to the components of the logical framework and assess the suitability and practicality of the indicators and means of verification used

8) Use quantitative and qualitative tools to collect the data needed from the field to support the process of situational monitoring

9) Perform other duties as requested by the Programs manager, when requested 

Skills & Qualifications:

- University Degree in a related filed (Public Health, Social Science, Statistics, Development or other related field)

- 2 -3 years’ experience in related field

- Experience in designing, implementing, and operating project M&E systems from project initiation to closeout stages

- Good knowledge of programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation techniques and practices

-  Good Knowledge on SPSS program and it's functionalities 

- Excellent analytical skills

- Ability to work in a team and good interpersonal skills

-  Accomplishes tasks accurately, thoroughly, and with a keen eye for detail both with quantitative and qualitative data

-  Efficient time management and the ability to think outside the box to meet expectations.

-  Ability to work both under direction and autonomously with a “can-do” attitude.

-  Ability to start ASAP
