Administrative Assistant

To be successful as an Administrative Assistant, candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. Administrative Assistants must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication.

The Administrative Assistant’s duties will include:

1. Scheduling: Providing scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts; arranging private tutee’s sessions

2. Office tasks: Handling office tasks, such as filing, preparing for meetings, creating presentations and reordering equipment

3. Accounting: Record expenses and receipts

4. Project monitoring: Update project records using data collected

5. HR support: Supporting with recruiting and on-boarding new staff

6. Social media: Updating social media accounts with content produced by the team

7. PR support: Map relevant public speaking events

Time commitment: 2 days per week (preferably split over 4 mornings or afternoons)
