Director of Research and Analytics at Embrace NGO

A. Responsibilities

Administrative

• Manage all aspects of monitoring and evaluation of various Embrace activities.
• Capture and analyze data from various Embrace services (Lifeline, Clinic) on a monthly, and annual basis and create reports for various stakeholders.
• Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly reports on pre-set indicators as needed
• Coordinate with others internal departments to ensure that data is being captured accurately and comprehensively for internal and external stakeholders.
• Create the day-to-day data capturing system of the Embrace services and train staff on its use.
• Regularly communicate critical findings to internal stakeholders.
• Analyze the Lifeline data, and create academic manuscripts, in collaboration with other Embrace staff, to create high-impact academic publications and inform policy making.
• Create/maintain/update metrics needed for awareness activities, and accurately capture impact of outreach.

Other core-functions

• Envision and implement strategy of the research department for the next one to three years.
• Recruit and train research assistants and data-entry personnel when needed.
• Involve the academic staff in various research activities
• Collaborate with academics or graduate students on various data-related activities (e.g., disseminating studies on our social media, involving graduate students in research activities, etc)
• Aid with other data-related questions as they arise.

B. SKILLS

• Excellent command of English and Arabic, especially in academic writing.
• Technologically savvy and informed of global trends in information technology.
