Objective 1: Provides Technical guidance and direction for PSS activities provided to vulnerable children / adolescents and their families in community centers and SDC
- Responsible of the effective planning, implementation and monitoring of the PSS activities in the area
- Monitors the implementation of activities;
- Makes frequent visits to the centers, to monitor the implementation of activities, to identify opportunities and constraints and to make any adjustments needed including staff training;
- Makes frequent visits to monitor the implementation of the activities in outreach.
- Supervises and coordinates the work of staff involved in the psychosocial support activities.
- Coordinates with the Coordinator and the CEO to ensure effective delivery of age-appropriate activities in the Community Center/SDCs and MU;
Objective 2: Develops training programs and assists in capacity building for staff and partners, possibly in priority thematic areas such as CP, psychosocial support, community resilience
- Designs a training and capacity building plan for TDH staff including community volunteers, partners, CBOs and LNGOs members and SDCs;
- Empower the field staff trough ToT and/or training on identification of children;
Objective 3: Supports the Project Managers in the establishment or follow up of the project budget & monitoring project expenses.
Objective 4:. Supervises the preparation of special events, recreational, cultural and sport activities together with project staff.
Objective 5: Supports the Project Coordinator and the Officers in the organization of staff meetings;
Objective 6: Designs and supervises the Community Outreach intervention (home visits, focus group, community meetings, awareness sessions), ensuring a direct participation of the beneficiaries in the planning of the activities;
Objective 7: Represents the agency/organization in meetings with other partners and other actors, to advocate and promote the program goals and objectives, and communicate with major partners on policies.
Objective 8: Liaise with other agencies/NGOs/government bodies/donors to ensure coordination, implementation of common standards in the field and consideration of protection issues in assistance programs.
Objective 9: Reports, Capitalization and Communication
- Written Report on a monthly basis to the Project Manager and the Child Protection Expert
- Supports the Project Manager in drafting the quarterly and final reports to be sent to the donors.
And any other duties seemed relevant to the position and assigned by your manager.
