Facilitator - Basic Literacy & Numeracy (BLN) and Accelerated Basic Literacy & Numeracy (ABLN) - ( Arabic - English - Maths )

Major Responsibilities of facilitators:

 Organize and deliver BLN/ABLN classes.
 Teach according to the curriculum and different learning materials when needed
 Assign and correct assignements.
 Maintain classroom organization and discipline.
 Attend regular meetings when needed
 Prepare classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts
 Participate in ongoing training sessions if present
 Work with project/education coordinators to ensure objectives are being met
 Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
 Perform any other related managerial tasks.
 Accompany children in bus or in extra curricula activity if needed
 Create positive learning environment

Job Requirements

 1 to 2 years of experience in teaching or education
 Experience in classroom management
 Experience in working with vulnerable individuals

Skills

•  Good communication skills with the ability to listen actively, understand and communicate with children and staff
•  Must posses good computer skills and proficient in microsoft office package.
•  Strong organization and teamwork skills
•  Approachable and has the ability to maintain confidentiality
•  Good cultural awareness and interpersonal skills
•  Prefered to be capable to teach in Arabic and either English or French (both spoken and written)
