Summary
The Partnership manger (GO) will participate in donor and internal reporting, and grants information management and grants management. The GO is mainly responsible for developing funding opportunities and maintain a strong cooperation with current and potential donors. The GO responsibilities also include: initiating and enhancing partnership relationships with key partners, taking the lead along the a project funding process: initiation the communication with the donor, proposal writing, budget review per donor requirements, and reviewing progress and final reports.
Key responsibilities
Funding Support
- Conduct mapping for donors with common interests with Hand’s programs;
- Conduct screening of funding opportunities;
- Establish and maintain strong relations with donors;
- Coordinate and support donors’ meetings and relevant audits and evaluations.
- Lead & Participate in development of concept notes and proposals.
- Ensure that reports are submitted on time and are coherent and accurately written;
- Control and support implementation of compliance requirements;
Organizational Development
- Represent the Organization in meetings and public events;
- Supports the update of portfolio and strategies, including relevant communication materials;
- Participate in development of fundraising strategy.
- Participate in the update of OCA.
Qualifications and Requirements
- University Degree in relevant discipline (social sciences, political science, PR, international relations and development studies etc.)
- Capacity to develop and produce grants and other proposals.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
- At least Three Year relevant experience in fundraising and managing relations with partners/donors, preferably in the Syrian-Crisis Context
- Sense of initiative, discretion, mature judgment, and entrepreneurial spirit is required.
- Proficiency in English & Arabic (Writing and speaking).
- Strong presentation, writing and negotiation skills, including the ability to elaborate partnership projects and grant proposals;
- Must possess an advanced skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications; including: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
