Social Media & Content Creation Officer

Duties & Responsibilities

• Stay up to date, informed and engage with all the organization’s on-going activities and programs, to identify and capture content to be promoted;
• Develop, implement and manage the organization’s social media strategy;
• Develop a content calendar;
• Define most important social media KPIs;
• Pitch creative ideas for content;
• Create, manage and oversee social media and other digital content;
• Conceptualize and implement the organization’s social media campaigns;
• Measure the success of every social media campaign;
• Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and algorithms;
• Use social media marketing tools;
• Engage in copywriting and designing to ensure content is informative, appealing and impactful;

• Develop all written and visual content for all social media platforms and other digital
  content (both Arabic and English);

• Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization;
• Provide constructive feedback.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Desing or other creative fields;
• 2+ years of experience as a social media management and strategizing or a similar role;
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media best practices;
• Knowledge in Adobe Creative suites: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign;
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics;
• Experience with doing audience research;
• Experience in copywriting and content creation in Arabic and English;
• Good understanding of social media KPIs and other essential indicators;
• Familiarity with design and publishing;
• Excellent multitasking skills;
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills;
• Good time-management skills;
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
