Program Coordinator - Lebanon

The Program Coordinator’s role is to support the Sr. Director of Field Operations in achieving UPA’s goals and objectives by serving as the primary point of contact for UPA partner organizations in Lebanon, providing support to UPA-led programs as needed, and performing miscellaneous tasks as assigned. The program coordinator will work under the general supervision of the Sr. Director of Field Operations and in close coordination with other UPA staff.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for partner organizations.
2. Follow up with UPA partners on their implementation of small and/or annual grants to ensure smooth implementation of activities and ensure project objectives are met.
3. Guide partners on the UPA’s requirements for the project reporting materials and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
4. Follow up on UPA- led programs, create and review required marketing materials.
5. Ensure the completion of Gifts In Kind (GIK) controls (i.e. hand-over forms, contracts) and reporting. Monitor and track projects’ progress and handle any issues that may arise; collect data for program evaluation, as needed
6. Contribute to the establishment of systems and procedures to ensure smooth implementation of programs and partner projects.
7. Participate in UPA meetings and external meetings as requested by supervisor.
8. Support new business efforts, including collecting information and conducting needs assessment, as needed.
9. Coordinate with program and support staff at headquarters or in the field.
10. Perform miscellaneous tasks as they may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in public health, business administration or relevant field.
2. At least 2 years’ experience with non-profit or development organizations.
3. Knowledge of budget tracking and monitoring & evaluation techniques is a plus. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure.
6. Ability to follow up on multiple activities and projects.
7. Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
8. Flexible and adaptable to change.
9. Experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Ability to travel inside the country.
11. Ability to work under pressure.
12. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
