TIF - Communications Specialist

Purpose:

The Communications Specialist, under the direction of the CLA Director and with the present Communications Specialist, will implement TIF’s communications approach, including developing social media and outreach strategies for the project and stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Key Tasks:

With guidance from CLA Director—

• Execute the project’s Communications and Outreach Plan.
• Co-develop and co-execute the project’s various activities’ Communications and Outreach Plans

• Co-produce reports to inform USAID about activities, objectives, and results, including Weekly Activity Updates, Monthly Reports, Quarterly Performance Reports, Annual Reports, and the Final Report.
• Support the production of research, learning, the TIF communication strategy and communications products, including, organizing project’s events, case studies, briefs, and infographics, to share lessons and successes with others supporting economic growth in Lebanon.
• Co-implement, working with the Communication's Specialist, TIF's social media presence and posts.
• Ensure adherence to the TIF Branding Implementation and Marking Plan.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in communications, journalism, public relations, international affairs or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of professional experience, including progressively responsible experience in communications.
• Significant experience of USAID-funded projects is required (Economic Growth projects are highly preferred).
• Experience with USAID Branding and Marking and related policies and procedures on the project level as well as on the activities implementation level.
• Experience designing messaging and public outreach campaigns required.
• Experience utilizing social media to promote project results and/or engage new potential partners preferred.
• Strong communication skills - both written and oral – in English and Arabic.
