POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Caritas Lebanon is looking to engage a Nurse. She will work at Caritas Lebanon shelters located in Beirut and Mount Lebanon for 4 days per week. She will provide consultation and basic medical assistance in addition to conducting awareness sessions on COVID 19.
DUTIES:
The Nurse will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Developing a monthly plan for the two shelters with the tasks and proposed activities.
- Coordinating with the shelter manager to organize her weekly visits.
- Providing Medical check-up for two shelters residents and their children.
- Preparing a medical file for each resident and update the shelter manager and the social worker for follow-up.
- Preparing a monthly report on the medical follow-up.
- Accompanying the patients to the medical consultations with the doctors at Caritas. Lebanon PHCCs and other specialized consultations.
- Coordinating the doctors’ visits to the shelters.
- Screening the symptoms of COVID-19 upon arrival of the new residents, to ensure other. residents ’safety and take the proper measures.
- Conducting monthly sessions on COVID 19 and other health issues in the two shelters.
- Preparing materials for other health awareness sessions according to the needs in coordination with the shelter manager.
- Distributing the monthly hygienic kits to the residents and humanitarian kits in coordination with the shelter manager and peer-counselors.

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
- Extensive experience (at least 5 years) in nursing sciences.
