Project Intern

CARE Interntaional in Lebanon is seeking a Project Intern with the following qualifications and to deliver the below tasks and responsibilities

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Outreach & follow up with relevant actors such as CCIAT, municipalities, NGOs/ community focal points about the current project.
• Conduct daily field visits to consortium members to provide support when needed to ensure quality implementation.
• Support in the organization of the training sessions (room preparation, transportation, refreshments, etc.) or support in the organization of the online trainings (TEAMS / ZOOM support to participants)
• Support the staff in data entering and preparing the processed data.
• Assist in organizing, preparing, and running meetings, workshops, and conferences
• Attend meetings and draft minutes
• Engage in filing and archiving activities when needed
• Assist in gathering of monitoring data for project reports
• Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to CARE and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission.
• Any other tasks assigned

Knowledge in Data collection and analysis, training and educational field, MS Office software such as Excel

Experience:

At least   0-1  years of relevant experience, especially at NGOs, academic organizations, standard-setting bodies, public agencies focused on the domain of Livelihoods and Food Security

Academic Background

Bachelor degree in one or several of the following areas:  Business, Social Sciences, or Related majors

Languages:

51. and/ or Arabic are the working language of CARE International.

Knowledge of other languages is an asset.

CARE offers internship and volunteer opportunities for up to 4 months contract for an allowance at USD $25 for meals and transportation and for a limit of 16 days a month.
