Oxfam has been working in Lebanon since 1993. We provide humanitarian assistance to vulnerable people affected by conflict, and we promote economic development, promotion of good governance at a local and national level, and women’s rights through our work with our partners. Oxfam also works with local partners to contribute to the protection and empowerment of marginalized women and men

As the economic crisis continues to threaten the livelihoods of Lebanese citizens, refugees, and migrant workers, Oxfam works to reduce the impact of the multifaceted- crisis. With thousands observing Ramadan and the upcoming Eid al-Fitr, the impact of the economic crisis is being felt more than ever through the inability to purchase sufficient food and other items.

Job Description

Oxfam aims at highlighting the impact of the economic crisis on food security among the most vulnerable communities.

For this, Oxfam wants to contract a consultant to:

1. Film interviews and provide high quality footage (rough editing)
2. Provide high quality still photos of the interviewees
3. Provide high quality B-Roll material (videos and photos)

Qualifications

• Availability to start immediately and deliver footage within two days of filming
• Familiar with the context of the vulnerable communities
• Editing skills
• Culturally sensitive
• Preferably has experience working in humanitarian context
• Arabic language is preferrable
