SCI is in the process of hiring an external Consultancy: Consultancy from the Private Sector and Civil Society Providers (Please refer to the TOR in the Related Documents Attached).

Scope of the consultancy

Out of its believe that the best way of advancing the promotion of community-based psycho-social support for children in need, is through a well-established and robust consultation, partnership, coordination and collaboration with all the exiting relevant CP actors in Lebanon.

One of the main lessons learned from previous collaborations, is that the coordination is crucial when it comes to providing quality services to vulnerable families and ultimately supporting in increasing the resiliency of children in such challenging situations. This coordination will be based on mutual learning and collaboration, which will increase the effectiveness of the implementation.

SC will consult two private sectors (one in North and one in BML) to implement recreational activities to integrate community-based PSS in their activities. SC will develop joint psychosocial support Programme between recreational activity providers and child protection and youth actors targeting children and families in vulnerable neighborhoods impacted by the explosion. As well as capacity building of private sector providers of recreational activities to able to transfer of skills (PSS)in their communities
